Insurance and Billing

We accept insurance and courtesy bill as an out of network practice. Keep reading below for more information.

Insurance Benefits

Payment & Out-of-Network Insurance Information

Grace and Healing Psychotherapy

Our Rates

  • Standard session fee for insurance billing: $1,200
  • Cash-pay rate for clients not using insurance: $250 per session

The $250 rate is available exclusively to clients who do not use insurance or have out-of-network benefits.

Out-of-Network (OON) Insurance

Grace and Healing Psychotherapy is an out-of-network provider. Many clients can still use their insurance benefits if their plan offers OON coverage.

What We Provide: Courtesy Billing

We offer courtesy billing, which means:

  • We bill your insurance directly on your behalf
  • You only pay what your plan assigns to you (deductible and coinsurance)
  • We do not balance bill for the difference between our $1,200 rate and your insurance’s allowed amount

You will never be charged more than what your insurance identifies as your responsibility.

How Costs Are Managed

Your total cost depends on three insurance factors:

1. Out-of-Network Deductible

You are responsible for your deductible amount until it is met.

2. Coinsurance

After the deductible, you pay a percentage of the plan’s allowed amount.
For example, if your plan covers 60%, you pay 40%.

3. Out-of-Pocket Maximum (OOP)

We monitor how much you have paid toward your out-of-pocket maximum.

Once your OOP maximum is reached, your plan often pays 100% of the allowed amount.

Important: We Cap What You Pay

You will never pay beyond what your insurance requires.

This means:

  • No balance billing
  • No surprise charges
  • Your costs stop once your OON deductible and OOP maximum are met

As your claims process, we will:

  1. Bill your insurance
  2. Receive the Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
  3. Bill you only for the portion your plan assigns to you
